Professor Paul Ekblom confirmed
We are glad to confirm that Professor Paul Ekblom will participate in the European Urban Safety Conference.
Paul Ekblom gained his PhD in psychology at University College London. As researcher in the UK Home Office, Paul worked on a range of crime prevention projects, horizon-scanning, Design against Crime and developing the professional discipline and knowledge management of crime prevention. Paul has worked with EU Crime Prevention Network, Europol, UN and Council of Europe. He is currently Professor and Co-Director of the University of the Arts London Research Centre on Design Against Crime, at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Here, he works on design and evaluation of products, places, systems and communications and continues to develop practical conceptual frameworks for general crime prevention.
During the conference professor Paul Ekblom will talk about "Rebuilding Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design… developing new concepts and language for practice, research and theory".
